Description: 
Lucas is a 1-1/2 year old male rust and white colored Basset. He was surrendered by a family whose home went into foreclosure. Since we have had him our volunteers have taken him to the dog park and he gets along fine running around with the other dogs. We still feel he will do best as an only dog because he gets food possessive. When he is hungry he barks to let you know, when you feed him he chows down and wants to be left alone. Because of this food aggression we feel he will do best in a home without small children. Please be familiar with this breed as he has that
