Description:
For more info about this pet, go to... www.aear.org Nellie was found wandering a wooded area in Lake County. She was in shocking condition. When we took her to the vet she was SEVERELY emaciated (22 pounds) had a skin condition and ear infections. Our veterinarian thinks she is a purebred basenji but others thought maybe she has some pharoah hound. In any case she is an amazingly sweet dog, even though right now she is so sick. She is great with kids, dogs and cats. She would make a wonderful companion. Her medical expenses will be high so we are asking for donations to help defer some of the cost. We hope you will consider donating. If so you can make a donation via our secure PayPal account on our web site at www.aear.org or send a check to AEAR P.O. Box 7343 Libertyville, IL. 60048. All our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. This gives us the ability to really get to know the animals we have available and find them families that are a good fit for them based on their personalities. We do not have a shelter to visit the animals. For more info about this pet, go to... www.aear.orgThe first step to meeting this pet is to fill out an adoption application at www.aear.org
