He is housetrained and knows basic commands. He gets along well with our 1 year old female dog. He is uninterested in our cats, which is great! He's pretty good on a leash, he pulls a little, but is very smart. I'm sure with some practice he would walk perfectly on a leash. He was very good for his bath, and lets us touch his ears, feet, and mouth with no problems. He's quick to roll over for a belly rub and enjoys cuddling on the couch with us. We have not needed to kennel him, he is very trustworthy in the house. Don't let his age fool you, he's very playful and active! He loves to be outdoors, so a fenced in yard is a must. He has some separation anxiety and would do best in a home with other pets and people that are home a lot. He's a really great, loving dog that would be a joy to adopt!
