Chase is a 10 year old male Australian Shepherd Mix who came to SCAC because his owner lost his home and could no longer care for him. Chase is a sweet, yet nervous boy who needs a companion who will be there for him. He was originally adopted from a shelter at 5 years old, so he understands what it is to be displaced. Chase is looking for someone who will give him plenty of love and time, since he is very focused on his handler. When Chase bonds, it is a very strong bond. We recommend an experienced, adult only home. Cats are fine but, Chase would prefer to be the only dog.
