1/29/10Evan is a handsome young blue merle purebred Australian Shepherd. He was pulled from a KY shelter to save him from being euthanized and we boarded him until we had a foster home available for him. He is being moved to a foster home and is anticipated to be there on Saturday 1/30. Watch the site for updates! http://www.NorthStarBCR.org1/31/10Evan is now in his foster home and has a wonderful temperament. He is doing very well after his long day yesterday. He is a very happy guy, but will resource guard around other dogs. This is not surprising since he was found as a stray. Even will need to be in foster care a minimum of two weeks before he is eligible for adoption to an approved adopter.
