Adoption Fee for all adult dogs is $300. Puppies are $350. Seniors over the age of 10 years old are $150. All dogs are spayed or neutered, current on shots (DHPPC, Bordetella and Rabies), microchipped, Frontline for fleas and ticks and dewormed. Sam is a 1 1/2 year old old Shepherd-Hound-Aussie mix who was rescued from the shelter. Who knows how she ended up there but like so many large breed dogs, she had little hope of getting out alive. We saw her and her tail-a-waggin' and couldn't resist her beautiful eyes. Oh yes, one is blue.Sam was recently returned to our rescue where a new baby had entered the home and the time needed for Sam is not available. We will be looking for a new home that has children over the age of 5. Sam graduated through all 3 levels of Petsmart training but unfortunately what she really needed work on was leash manners and learning to meet and greet people and other animals while on the leash. Her new home will need to work on that with her. She currently lives in a home with other dogs and is fine with them. Sam is very sweet and will quickly bond as she has now that she has returned to her foster home. She will need a family that helps build her confidence. She is unsure of herself which is why she is not always confident when strangers approach her on the leash. She needs a family that is dog savvy and is willing to be the leader in and out of the home.Sam does not have an overwhelming amount of energy. She does like to go out in the yard and play but she won't require hours and hours of exercise or a playmate that wants to playmate non-stop. She has very good house manners.
