Otis is a 3mo male heeler mix who was rescued starving from the side of a lonely country road down in Mississippi. Otis is friendly and well-socialized with a medium activity level. Loves to run and play outside, but then settles down quickly in the house. Likes to go for walks, loves to be with people, enjoys being petted and brushed. Great with kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Learning crate-training, housebreaking, basic commands. No issues such as separation anxiety, counter surfing or barking. Weighs about 17#, healthy, altered and utd on shots. Here's a note from his foster mom: 'Otis was found on a long lonely road in Mississippi along with his sister and brother - all 3 were starving. Otis couldn't be happier to be rescued and shows his happiness every day. He's quickly learned crate-training, a few basic commands (no, sit) and seems to know what you're thinking - really smart little guy. Otis loves to walk on the leash or to run around in the backyard. He sleeps through the night and after running around he'll pass out at your feet. He gets along great with all of our dogs and would love to find a forever home. He likes to jump and with his smarts, maybe he'd be a shoe-in for Frisbee!'To adopt please fill out an adoption application. For more information about our adoption procedures and fees, please visit our homepage at Good Dog Rescue. For more information or if your have questions email us at email@example.com.
