Ty is looking for a forever family to call his own. Could that be with you?
Ty is just the all around perfect dog. He came to Four Paws via the pound. He was obviously lost from a loving family. We can't imagine why no one is looking for him. He was found half starved but already neutered.
Ty is housebroken. He is wonderful with kids. Good with cats and great with other dogs. He does not chew on things in the house and is content to play quietly with his toys when everyone else is busy.
Ty appears to be around one year old. His foster family is smitten with him and would keep him if they were not already at the city limit with their own dogs. The first day, Ty was so good that his Foster Mom decided to not put him in a crate that night and see how he behaved on his own, while everyone else was sleeping. He just settled down queitly with the other dogs on the floor of the bedroom and went right to sleep. He asks to go outside and do his bussiness and has never had an accident in the house. He does not bark or whine when left outside or when shut in a room by himself.
Ty is currently a little food frantic. He is not aggressive about his food at all. He just wants to have it and have it now and can think of nothing else when it is around. We think it comes from him being on the street with no food. His Foster family is working with him on this and are confident he will be over it in no time.
We are unsure of Ty's breeds. He has the small speckeled feet of a cattle dog, or heeler. He has the coloring of a Rottweiller or Doberman Pinscher. He is a medium sized dog, around the size of a heeler. He was either born with, or his tail was docked to, a third the length of a regular tail. He is a great dog that comes in a compact package.
Ty's adoption fee is $125, which includes nueter surgery and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
