Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Cali is a two year old Australian Cattle dog/Blue Heeler. She weighs about 30 pounds, but she does need to gain a few pounds. She is very sweet and loving, walks well on a leash, and loves human companionship. She is fully house trained, likes to snuggle on the couch, and is an all around wonderful girl. Cali is not kenneled in her foster home since she so well behaved. She also enjoys the off-leash dog park and meeting new dogs and people. She would do best in a house with no small children since she tends to be 'mouthy,' most likely due to her breed. Even though she does not actually bite, we feel she would scare small children. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to play. Cali's adoption fee is $250 (plus $10 for microchip registration), which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter.
