Description:
Please contact Anna (annaotat@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Meet Margot, the beautiful Cattle Dog girl! This sweet dog was found as a stray and was picked up with her litter of puppies. Margot had been darting back and forth between a forested area and the company across the street; some good samartins at the company had been feeding miss Margot but were unable to make ongoing contact with her until she settled in a wooded area to have and care for her puppies. Thankfully, Margot and her litter of five pups were all safely picked up by an animal control officer. Not so fortunately, Margot's initial shyness (can you blame her?!) meant that she could not go up for adoption at the animal control. But...this story does have a happy ending; One Tail at a Time has committed to intaking Margot and now she just needs a foster home and forever home. Also, Margot has progressed by leaps and bounds since ending up at the animal control two weeks ago. Though she still takes a minute to warm up to strangers, within five minutes she will be glued to your side and loves to receive lots of petting and scratches. Though Margot has never shown an ounce of aggression, she will thrive most in a calmer adult only home. Also, due to the fact that Cattle Dogs typically have a high prey drive and Margot subsisted for a few months on rabbits and squirrels, she will not be placed with any feline friends. As with all One Tail at a Time dogs, Margot is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped, and will be spayed. Her adoption fee is $200.If you are interested in fostering or adopting Margot please e-mail Anna at annaotat@gmail.com.
