Lacey is somewhat special to my heart. She had puppies out in the orchard. And was in very poor condition! But she is such a great mom all her pups lived and are fat and healthy. It is amazing how she makes sure they eat before her. Dont worry I have her gaining weight and being fed better than ever. She and the pups get milk replacer and canned food along with all the dry they can safely eat. She is still a little timid but runs up touches me and runs back. But I can let her out to exercise and she comes right back to me when I call her. She is missing part of both ears. I imagine it was from being in a fight while running the orchard or maybe even gettting frost bite. She can go home within the next week. This special dog will pay back a pet family a million times.
