Description:
Please contact Amiela (amiela@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. Pemberly (“Pem” for short) is a very-affectionate, 5-year-old Staffie mix. A great indoor dog, Pem sheds very little, does not chew (except for toys and rawhides), and is crate trained. She specializes in kisses, watching television (especially in a willing lap), fetching toys, and eating unwanted leftovers—particularly curry or tofu. Accustomed to napping during the day while her owners are at work, Pem is low maintenance, needing just a few bathroom breaks, two meals, exercise, and lots of love each day. Pem also loves the great outdoors and adores both naps in the sun and sniffing grass. Trained to walk on a lead without pulling, Pem is accustomed to both brisk exercise trots and leisurely strolls. While on them, Pem makes friends with other dogs but is not a fan of cats. Very motivated by treats and happy words, Pem knows lots of tricks: sit, stay, spin, up, lie down, crawl, under the leg, jump, and catch. She is also used to negative, buzzer-like voices when actions are undesired and learns very quickly which things not to do. (For instance, teaching her to stay off nice furniture is a breeze.) Bottom line: Pem’s great personality, strong desire to please, and love of being around people make her a constant companion with LOTS of love to give. She has touched the lives of everyone who has kept her.
