In Dec '07, Kobe was brought to the HSGA as part of a Cruelty Investigation. He was diagnosed as having heartworm and went through the invasive treatment. He did lose some weight during this time but has now fully recovered and has bulked up again. He is about 5 yrs old and 65 lbs. Kobe has a rock solid temperament with any and all people he meets. He does well with some female dogs, but can not go to a home with cats. Kobe is a wonderful example of the breed. He is very loving and eager to please. He is well mannered on a leash and loves going for walks with you. Kobe is a very intelligent dog and very quick to learn new things. He had a rough start in life but is now ready to find a home that will never allow any harm to come his way. A faithful friend and companion is what you will get in Kobe . All of our animals are housed by volunteers, allowing them the opportunity to acclimate themselves to life in a home.
