Sometimes when a dog comes out of the shelter, they are so overwhelmed or timid that they quietly just go with their rescuer, not knowing what the future holds... Not so with our girl Sara! When she was brought out on a leash she led the way to the car as if to say, “Let’s go, it’s a brand new day and I’m ready for a new adventure!” Sara is pure unbridled joy and love. But when a kind person touches her head, she closes her eyes as if she thinks she is dreaming, for surely she has never known true love. Sara is a dog who will make you believe in the power of love. Go to www.ThumpingTails.org for an online application or email ThumpingTails@aol.com with specific questions. Please note: we do not make appointments to meet our dogs until the online application has been completed so we can see if the dog is a good potential match. Thank you. We list dogs as being good with children, other dogs and cats unless we have specific knowledge to the contrary. ANY new dog will need to be closely supervised when being transitioned into a home with other dogs or cats or kids.
