See Lexi's Homepage Yadkin County Humane Society houses all of our animals in foster care in member's homes. We do not have a shelter facility. Appointments to see animals must be arranged with his/her foster parent ahead of time. Have you ever been misunderstood or misjudged by a label? If so, I know exactly how you feel! I'm an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. I've been through a lot. I was a stray on my own, then a new mom with no place to go. I still carry a BB in my front leg from being run off by someone. I'm very grateful to be in a foster home where I'm well cared for and safe, but I've been here a long time and sometimes it's hard to keep believing that a forever family that's all mine will happen for me.
