HTML clipboard Jackson is a beautiful dog whose abundance of love and personality no paragraph could adequately describe! He is an American Pit Bull Terrier, around 4 years old, weighing about 50 lbs, and was saved at the last minute from the euthanasia list at Animal Care & Control. He has all his shots and is in excellent health. He appears to have been well-cared for--his coat is beautiful, is in great shape, is completely housebroken, and sits and shakes on command. What you have to see to believe is how loving Jack is. He loves lying in laps and having his belly rubbed; he is so happy when his foster parents come home that he wiggles and sings; and he loves to jump in bed and snuggle. He has loads of energy (a great match for a runner!), and loves attention. Though he is a sweet, non-agressive angel, due to his energy and strength he is probably best kept away from small children. He is on the dominant side, and would be better suited to be an only dog. He is also a little too interested in cats -- and will do better in a home without them. We would love to adopt Jack to a loving dog experienced (preferably Pit Bull)home, who can give him the exercize and attention he needs. Also, please have personal and vet references, as we will check them. Adoption fee is $100. Jack has been in boarding for the last few months—though he is safe, he is still in a cage, and yearns for the warmth and attention of a loving home.
