Lady Love is an 1 year old mixed breed - probably border collie / pitbull / lab type mix. She originally came up as a puppy from down south, and the rest of her litter all looked like border collie / lab mixes but her face looks like she''s got a little pit type in there as well. She is an active dog (as you can imagine with that breed mix) and is not suited to a life of leisure. Since she has been here, Lady Love has gone through an obedience class with Tail Waggin'' Dog Training and was a star pupil. She graduated basic obedience, and would love to continue to learn more with her new owners. She is quite focused and learns quickly. In fact, Lady Love really loves the individual attention and challenge of learning new things. Lady Love enjoys playing with other active dogs and would do well living with a companion who appreciates rough play. Her previous family didn''t spend much time with her, so she needs a little work with some of her training and she needs an energy outlet every day. She will really blossom in a home where she gets individual attention and training, where she can spend her energy in constructive ways.Her leash manners are also improving with the use of a gentle leader and daily walks while here. This is another thing she would love to continue at home - daily out and about walks where she can see new things and experience more of the world.
