Description:
COURTESY LISTING-----Hi, my name is Mabel, which means “amiable” in Latin. I am a dark brindle female English Staffordshire/American Pitbull/ possible Labrador/ Heinz 57 mix. I was abandoned outside an apartment complex in Dallas. There I made friends with another female dog and helped protect her and her puppies until someone rescued all of us. I'm a smart dog and I have learned to sit, shake a paw, lie down, walk well on a leash and I love to take a leisurely drive in a car. I am very sweet, well-behaved, friendly, I give kisses and I am eager to learn new things such as drinking out of my human’s water bottle and I would like to learn to play frisbee. I love to be pampered, groomed and bathed. My hair is short and I don’t need much brushing. I get along great with the other dogs and I am very curious of other animals like horses, cows and my world around me. Also I would be very grateful for a foster home until I find my forever home. I would like to have a backyard to play but I would also like to cuddle on the couch. If you would like to meet Mabel, contact adoptions@dognkittycity.org.
