Meet Phoenix! As you can see in the pictures, poor Phoenix was handed the short end of the stick! We'll never know what possessed someone to inflict these kinds of wounds on this boy, but regardless of his abuse, he's got GREAT potential. We'll have to wait until his wounds have healed to finish his temperament evaluation, but from what we've seen thus far, he's a sweet boy who's ready to go and just simply, ready to be a puppy! Phoenix is approximately 7-8 months old and 33lbs. We imagine he may reach about 45lbs at adult weight. He's got a gorgeous chocolate coat and his ears are cropped. He's been neutered, microchipped and he's up to date on his vaccinations. Phoenix is currently in a temporary foster home so a more permanent one needs to be found. If you are up for the task, please fill out our Foster Application. Don't forget, you can do a 'Foster to Adopt' as well if you are interested in adopting him. We would ask that you continue to foster him through our organization so we can insure his medical needs are taken care of.
