Cant Adopt? Sponsor- ANY AMOUNT HELPS
12/15/08 - Two months later and we have retrieved Lonnie! YEY! The poor boy has been through a lot - He is skin and bones. Can someone please give Lonnie a break? Our shelter is full and after his ordeal we have nowhere to put him, except outside in the cold. PLEASE consider fostering Lonnie for us. He deserves a warm bed to lie on and some love. Call Allison at 901-240-9848 if you can help.
10/15/08 - Lonnie is missing from the shelter...we are not sure if he escaped or was taken...there is a $350.00 cash reward - no questions asked for his return. If you have any information regarding poor Lonnie's whereabouts, please contact Joan: 870-739-1145
9/09/08 The situation at the shelter is beyond urgent...especially for hard to place dogs such as Lonnie. He is a loving and kind dog who needs a doggy angel. Please hurry...the shelter is running at over 3 times capacity right now and no one is adopting...
8/23/08: This handsome boy escaped from his home. We are pretty sure that he and Lindy came from the same house where they lived with older children. Apparently they did not have a fenced in yard. Both are very sweet and well socialized. They did not come to the shelter at the same time. Unfortunately, their owners did not come back for them. The good news is that they are now available for adoption! They will need an indoor home(s) a fenced in yard. We are guessing they are around a year old to year and a half. Please call Joan at 870-739-5412 (between 1 and 5) or 870-739-1145. Allison may also be reached if needed at 901-240-9848.
