Cant Adopt? Sponsor- ANY AMOUNT HELPS
12/02/08: Kora is doing fabulous in her foster home! According to her foster mom, Terri, Kora is a very playful pup. She loves for people to pet her. Kora looks for approval from people and seems to be a fast learner. She is crate trained and knows some commands (e.g., 'get in your cage', 'hurry up', etc.). She would make a great addition to a family!11/18/08: Dora and Kora have gone to a foster home! That is the good news - the bad news is they are heartworm positive and need sponsorship funds to help with treatment.
10/21/08: Dora and Kora are finally in a foster home thanks to Terri. Both are doing great! Both these gals are obviously very close, however they tend to be protective of each other when together. Therefore, they would probably do best in a home with no other dogs or they could be separated (although we prefer to keep them together if at all possible). Terri is spoiling them rotten (last we spoke to her foster momma, she had one of them in her lap!
8/23/08: Kora is a sweetheart! She is the momma to the litter of 5 puppies (Jules, Candy, etc.) and the daughter of Dora (also on this site). Kora is not very old herself (maybe 1- 1 1/2?). All were part of a protective custody case and are now available for adoption. Please get them out of the shelter while we search for good homes for them.
