Description:
Please contact Tiffany (humane_society@msn.com), (225) 664-4468 for more information about this pet. We want to match the right pet to the right family. New owner must sign an adoption agreement, must agree to a home inspection and must have a secure fenced in yard for puppies and dogs. All of our animals are inside pets. Hooch is a beautiful Brindle Pit that was running loose in a Walker neighborhood. He was dragging a 5 ft chain around with him. Everyone in the neighborhood was scared of him but he just ignored them. One day he was playing in the middle of Walker South Rd when a member saw him get hit by a car and a truck! She walked down to where he had crawled into the culvert. He would not move so she carried him to her house in a blanket. It was not an easy task to say the least as he weightedabout 60 lbs. Hooch is now doing great! He is recovering from a broken leg and is suppose to say crated and calm until he heals. You would never know he was hurt because of his energy level. Thats a Pit for ya, they never stop. Hooch needs a home where he can be an only pet that sleeps in the bed! Other pets are fine as long as they get along. He does not like cats or being alone. He is well behaved inside and listens to basic commands. For more info email Tiffay at humane_society@msn.com Our adoption fee covers up-to-date vaccinations and a voucher for spaying or neutering.
