Who doesn’t love chocolate? Well if you didn’t before, you will after you meet this adorable girl. Hershey is a beautiful, petite, brindle girl approximately 8 months old and weighs approx 35 lbs. She was found by her current foster in the median of a busy highway. Since arriving into her foster home she has blossomed into sweet and very playful bundle of fun! Hershey is super energetic so it is very important for her to find a patient person/family who is ready to spend a lot of time playing with her. She’s a sucker for belly rubs and butt rubs. She loves to play fetch and a privacy-fenced backyard would probably be a good idea since she can scale a chain-link fence. She adores her Kong toys stuffed with carrots or filled with peanut butter. And chewing on big bones is one of her favorite hobbies – she loves a project! Hershey also enjoys long walks and does wonderful on car rides. She has been very good on long trips (up to 7 hours so far) in the car. When she’s worn out, she loves to cuddle on the couch and give kisses. Hershey is currently being crate trained and almost has this “potty thing” down pat. She has learned “sit” and “down”, but she still needs some work on her leash manners and jumping. She currently lives with an older female dog and 2 cats who can’t quite keep up with her playfulness. She would do best with another dog who likes to play as much as she does and in a home with older children. She is looking for a playmate and to become your loving and loyal companion. Hershey has been spayed, heartworm free, and is up to date on all her vaccinations. Please click the link below to fill out our adoption application! Vet references will be checked, all current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered unless actively showing or there is a valid reason for not being altered. Upon approval, a home visit will take place, adoption fee is secured and transfer of dog will be completed.
