Description:
My dog is Diamond, a 2 1/2 year old female red-nosed pittbull. She has been spayed before I even got her, which was at 9 months old. She is an absolute joy to be around, very sweet, loyal and a typical loving pittbull. I can not find an apartment complex in N.O that will allows me to have a pittbull because of her breed. Her health is overall fine. She listens very well to sit, down, ouch. She licks a lot, and is very attentive to your feelings. She relates to me the most since I am her mother, and does not jump on me when I walk in and is always relaxed in my presence and listens to every command, so I know she has the potential to be like this with everyone. For now, when someone else walks in she gets excited and hard of listening to my commands wants to jump and lick til they fall over.we had 2 cats and Diamond, so she has lived with cats before. She always wanted to play and associate with them, but we had them first and they were a team and never really accepted Diamond. I think she would be fine with a cat that likes dogs. With kids, she is also sweet and aware of their feelings, she is just a bigger dog and likes to lick and get on top of you, so might be overwhelming for kids. With some training, I am sure she could get control of that.
