Description:
Please contact Anna (annaotat@gmail.com) for more information about this pet. This little girl is a true survivor, Peanut was born with a cleft palette and hair lip. Don't think that this stops her in any way! Her palette is fully closed and her hair lip just makes her that much more unique. She was hand reared by her amazing and dedicated foster parents since she was 7 days old.She made the trip from Georgia to Chicago with her foster mom. At six months old, Peanut is a ball of energy. She is a petite girl, weighing only 30 pounds. She loves to play with other dogs; her best bud is a 100 pound German Shepherd. She loves her daily walks and is very curious about the world around her. She loves to play with all toys her favorite is a plush toy horse. Peanut snores a lot due to her lip, sometimes she wakes her self up from it! She is studying her basic obedience and is potty trained and crate trained. Peanut can be stubborn at times and therefore might not be good or children under 10. Though she is not in the least bit aggressive, when she gets excited she tends to nip and be mouthy as a way to seek out attention. She is not scared of anything which can get her in trouble at times. Peanut was the runt of her litter; her brothers and sisters were nearly twice her size. All Peanut wants is a forever home and people to play with and spoil her rotten and she deserves that! For more information or to receive an application, email Anna at annaotat@gmail.com. One Tail at a Time is a certified, non-profit, no-kill group that rescues abandoned dogs in the Chicagoland area. Our adoption fee is $150.
