Meet Winnie, a beautiful red pit with very light brindle markings. Winnie is VERY energetic! She is sort of like the Energizer bunny, just keeps going and going. She's a young dog, a year old at most, probably at the end of her puppy-hood and moving into her teen years. She'll need supervision and training to be the best dog she can be. Right now, she does all those usual puppy things, such as chewing things she shouldn't if she doesn't have chew toys around. She's pretty good with commands, but gets distracted easily. She's learning to walk nicely on the leash. Winnie is a very smart dog and just needs instruction and practice on her manners. She is super-sweet and gets along with all of the dogs at her foster home. She does well with people, but would be too active for a home with small children. Playing in the water is one of her all-time favorite activities. She does not like to go for car rides (she's actually afraid of being in the car). Winnie is house-trained and knows how to use a doggy door.
