If you are looking for a super sweet girl, look no further. My name is Kizzie. I am a standard size eskie who weighs 33 lbs. As you can see, my fur is very full, luxurious and beautiful.
I am very well behaved girl. I like people more than other dogs. I can get along with other well behaved dogs, but other dog aggressive dogs and I don't get along. I have a foster dog brother that I am fine with right now.
My family had to give me up because they had to move to Peru. I was not allowed to go along. I really miss them. I am used to living with children (older children are fine).
I recently went into the HOPE prison program for some training. Unfortunately I had some problems with another dog there and had to leave. So my foster dad has been continuing my training. One of my favorite things to do is play outside. He calls me and I come running as fast as I can. I also like to run and play with him. Although I am 9 years old, I do not act like my age. So far I have learned to sit, come and lay down. I am learning the up command (to be invited to sit next to you on the couch), and the off command to go back down to the floor.
My fur is very soft and luxurious, and one of the things that I learned in the prison program is how good it feels to be groomed.
I am also learning how nice it is to cuddle with someone. I also love to sit next to you while you go about your business.
I am located in Martinsburg, PA. If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. I'm staying in Pennsylvania until my new family comes along!
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
