See Jack in TN's Homepage
LOCATION: Hartsville, TNJack is a young adult, healthy and happy. He is a very handsome miniature Eskie. Being food-driven, he is eager to please so he responds quickly to basic commands, especially when he knows he will get a tidbit for a reward. Jack loves to play and sometimes he doesn’t know how rough he is so supervision is needed until he understands the limits. He gets along well with other dogs and he loves children although it would be best if they weren’t too young. Since Jack tends to be the dominant one, he is best with calm leadership where he will happily become a loyal member of the family. Although he needs more leash training, Jack loves to walk and will go the distance with you every time! Since he loves to run and play, a fenced yard is recommended to keep him safely contained. Please don’t overlook this great dog with a lot of personality and potential. To learn more about Jack, email contact@EskieRescuers.org.
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
