Hello! I'm Jango!
A few days ago my owners dropped me off at a local shelter. I don't know what happened, but I guess the landlord changed the rules :( No dogs allowed! Fortunately the shelter called ERU to come save me, and boy am I glad they did!
A nice lady showed up to see me today. At first I was afraid, I was petrified! How could I go on without my owner by my side? Little did I know that this new lady was a friend and was going to give me a new lease on life. It took me a few minutes to see that I could trust her, but her soothing talk made me feel so at ease that I let her cup my head in her hands. She knew right away that I . . . I would survive!!
I'm young, on the way to be neutered, and settling ito my foster home with two other Eskies and a cat. It didn't take me long to warm up to my foster mom, either. Those ERU ladies are really nice! When I met my new foster brothers one of them wasn't so sure about me, but I was submissie and let him do the talking. I don't care about the cat I live with (what cat?) My records from the shelter indicat that I am good with children, too. I ride in the car like a champ and am housebroken.
So, what do you think? Am I the one for you? If you think I am, please contact Heather at firstname.lastname@example.org, or fill out an application to adopt me today!!
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
