Please contact Erin (gbcr@mail.com) for more information about this pet. Molly is a super sweet 14 month old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She grew up in a home with kids that loved her. Unfortunately, the stepfather of the children threatened to kill the dog unless it was given up. His reasoning was that Molly kept getting loose from her outdoor tie out and he was tired of chasing her down and bringing her home. The little boy cried and cried when Molly was finally relinquished to a rural shelter. Molly has been in foster care for several weeks and is doing fantastic. She is house trained and knows to sit and lay down on command. She will politely wait for her food with no agitation or aggression and she has almost mastered the art of not jumping on people when she gets excited. Molly really likes other dogs. She can play a bit rough, but does respond to correction and will never push another dog beyond his or her comfort zone. Molly is also being fostered with cats, and she is absolutely fine with them.
