Description:
Big Joe arrived from 20 dog kennel seizure due to animal cruelty charges in the Mat-Su valley. Big Joe is sweet boy who reminds us of a Teddy Bear. He loves to lean into you and look at you with his sweet face. We've been calling it the Big Joe Happy Hug. He hangs out like few other dogs we've met. Joe has a benefactor who has been out walking and training him. He's been a good walk on the leash, comes when called and has learned to sit, down and stay. Not bad for a guy who spent most of his life on a chain! Joe would make a great skijoring companion. He has a great gait, and seems like a natural in the pulling--leading one would like while skijoring. Big Joe is fine around other dogs. He's knee high and should weigh 65 pounds when he's fed appropriately, we think he's 6 years old. Big Joe is neutered, has all his shots and be microchipped. To see him go to the Alaska SPCA shelter at 73rd and Arctic in Anchorage. They can reach them at (907) 344-3622
