See Emiko's Homepage This little purebred Akita almost lost her life at the SPCA because her family bought her and then couldn't housebreak her. Well, that's because she had a urinary infection which has since been cleared up. She almost died because they took her to the SPCA instead of the vet!Emiko means 'Smiling Blessed Beautiful Child' in Japanese and she is all of that. Miko would like to reguire a law in DE that anyone who passes by her must pet her. She is super affectionate and just adorable. Miko is going to be a huge female Akita, I'm judging she could go to 90 pounds. She is submissive with humans but I can see that she is an alpha female so she must go to a home where she will be the Top Dog. She can not live with another alpha female - a male would be OK but never a female. As always when we have Akita's - they can only be adopted to families with prior personal experience with the breed. They are very special dogs and they must go to homes that admire their disposition. Akita's
