Description:
Humane Society of Calloway County P. O. Box 764 607 Poplar Street Murray, Kentucky 42071 270-759-1884 humanesociety@murray-ky.net www.forthepets.org Whiskers has lovely white boots and a shiny black coat. She is a cute Tuxedo. She has a little white chin, which is how we tell the difference between her and Socks at a glance. Whiskers very striking Tuxedo. Whiskers was born in 4/09. She has been spayed already, tested negative for feline leukemia, has been vaccinated for FVRCP and feline leukemia (2 series), rabies, microchipped, dewormed and given regular vet-approved flea prevention. She is an indoor kitten and is housetrained. She has been eating Purina Kitten Chow and uses an uncovered litter box with scooopable litter. She gets along with other kitties, but could be an only pet as long as she has a person or family to devote time to her. Whiskers likes to play with catnip mice and find hidey-holes to nap in. She will run about and play with the other foster kittens in her home. Whiskers uses a turbo cardboard scratcher and prefers the floor-type scratcher. She will occasionally sleep with you, but likes to sleep alone usually. Whiskers is a little shy at first, and may need time to come to you on her own terms. She would probably be fine with older children. Whiskers is curious and likes to investigate. Whiskers' mom was Wednesday. Wednesday was a mother cat who was brought into the shelter with 5 kittens that were only several days old. She most likely gave birth around 4-6-09. She was a good mother and a sweet cat, but the shelter environment was just too stressful for her. We took her into our foster system and gave her some much-needed TLC, quiet and good meals. Wednesday has been tested and was negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Whisker's adoption donation is $100.00.
