I am so amazed. I am so grateful. And grateful is not a word that cats use lightly. I really am grateful - to all the people here at Feline Rescue - they like me! I mean - They Like Me! And grateful to the people who brought me here when I was shivering all alone in their yard. All I ever wanted was a warm home, some good food, and People Love. I'm a nice young man, not even a year old. I don't know how I ended up alone in a Minnesota winter. That shouldn't happen to a dog, much less a cute cat fellow. I know that winter didn't do my ears much good - nor my nose. I am so happy that you still think I'm cute! I am still cute! Cute! Cute! Cute! See how I turn my little tuxedo head and give you just a tiny 'squeak?'. See my perfect beauty spot right by my whiskers? I'm told 'beauty spots' were trendy in the 1930s and 1940s. Not sure if they were trendy for guys - or just women. But, maybe, I'm starting a whole new thing - what you think? I think that you think that I am just about the dearest cat guy ever. I roll to you. I nuzzle you. I put my cute on you. Let me show you my toys. I love toys - I never had toys before - this is wonderful. See? I have an almost real mouse - grey even, with a pink nose. I have a sparkly ball, I have a feathery, glittery thing that wiggles when I poke it. I've got toys. I've got good food. All I need now is my home and my people. Be my People! Am I Jane Austen's brother? No, I don't think so. The only thing we have in common is that I have good sense and sensibility. I don't think Jane played a lot. And I'd like to play. Stephen Austin, maybe? No - he spelled his name differently, and, cold as it is here, I can't quite see myself as a Texan. I think I'm a Cat - a super nice, super loving, happy Cat. And I will be amazed, once again, when you walk into Feline Rescue with your $100 and take me home with you and Like Me! And I will certainly Like You!. And I will be really grateful, too. PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
