Description:
“ERIN”-Spayed Female-Shorthaired Tortoise Shell, Brown wit Black. Approx: 2 years. Here's what Erin told us: “I was a stray who was not doing well on my own. I was out in all that bitter cold and snow. I can’t even describe just how cold I was, and alone, and scared to death. I didn’t know how to find shelter, and did what I could to stay alive. I finally found a doorstep to warm up in the sun. The lady who lived there saw me and brought me to the shelter. Now, at least I have a warm bed, fresh food and water and a clean litter box. (Who knew how hard the ground could be to dig in?) I love attention and I will throw myself against the cage door to beg and plead if needed-anything for some extra attention! I will even resort to hanging on when someone is leaving. I love head and chin rubs, and I purr non stop. I would like a home with older kids- the little, more noisy ones really scare me! I may even be able to live with a laid back dog. Once I’m here for a while longer, I will know more about what my best forever home should be like. Until then, I’m just sitting back and enjoying the ride that I’m on now-warm, fed and loved.”
