Description:
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!! Meet Sunday this Â…umÂ…Saturday at the Petco in Wynnewood. Beautiful Sunday was rescued from the streets of Philly. She was begging for food at the door of one of our volunteers. Now Sunday is warm, comfortable, fed and living in foster care. While foster care is so much better than the mean cold streets, itÂ’s nothing compared to having a home of her own. Sunday wants nothing more than to have a person (and lap) of her very own. She would love to snuggle up and keep her person warm during the cold winter months. She is very sweet and easy going and also enjoys looking out of the window for hours on end. Sunday is a petite little lady. She is approximately 1 year old but she still looks like a kitten. She has been spayed, received her shots and tested negative for FeLV. Unfortunately, little Sunday had the misfortune of testing positive for FIV. FIV is Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. It is actually not a big deal at all but FIV positive cats often get overlooked for adoption. FIV positive cats can live a long, healthy, normal life if they are kept indoors. It is not easily transmitted to other cats and many vets now believe FIV positive cats can live with other cats without any risks. Please read more about FIV at the Best Friends site, or better yet, ask your vet! http://www.bestfriends.org/theanimals/petcare/cats_fiv.cfm Please bear in mind, that we take several applications on each of our adoptables, and the best match possible is made in both the interest of the animal and the adopter. There is no such thing as 'first come, first serve' when it comes to our adoption process. It is deliberate and careful, as the animal you adopt is your responsibility for the duration of his or her lifetime. Our Adoption Area is LIMITED to Philadelphia and the IMMEDIATE surrounding suburban counties . We DO NOT adopt out of state.
