Dear All, ( the photo only shows her when she was taken care of after the car accindent)She is fine now Daisy is a senior cat probably in the age range of 10 -12 years. For most of her life she lived as a stray cat outside, surviving the winters by staying warm huddling with the other stray cats that had formed a family unit, and surviving day to day because food was delivered by a dedicated group of people that fed this group of cats on a daily basis so that they would not have to scavenge for food. Like most stray cats over time, she became very wary of people and her gentle personality did not shine through her tough exterior that she had to show to survive as a stray cat living on the streets of South Norwalk. Life was kind to Daisy in that she had shelter, food and a family unit, yet this does not protect against the dangers that stray cats have to deal with on a daily basis. Danger came Daisy's way in the probable form of a car, that left her with a badly injured and infected foot and a slight fracture to her upper leg. Thankfully, she was spotted and was taken to the vet. It was determined that Daisy would have to stay inside for at least two months in order for a full recovery. Frequent vet visits took place, and she has made a full recovery. She easily took the many medications that were given to her, and purred as the vets would change her bandages and check her injuries. As well as making a full physical recovery, Daisy has shredded her tough exterior and allowed her true personality to shine which has made her a favorite among the staff at the vet hospital where she frequented on a regular basis and those that have had the good fortune to be blesssed with the company of Daisy during her recovery. Enjoy the photos taken during and after recovery. She is truly a delight, and is as sweet as sugar. She loves to be petted and has proven herself as a wonderful mother figure to kittens whose mother was not as lucky as Daisy in surviving. She cuddles and grooms them on a regular basis which has enabled them to thrive. She would do well in a quiet home and would thrive in a multi cat household She is up to date with shots, spayed and has tested negative for fiv/felk.
