Description:
Pixie came up to a Good Samaritan's home and promptly had babies. What is even sadder about that, Pixie is barely more then a kitten herself! This Good Samaritan could not afford to keep them, but didnt want to see them carted off by Animal Control, so they tried their best to care for them, but money was tight and they were not able to feed them much. They finally found us and asked for help. We were so sad to see such skinny cats and kittens but knew the family was trying their best. We got the cats and kittens into our care and they are normal weights now and ready for a family. Pixie is VERY affectionate and loving. She is overwhelmed with too many other cats but would be great with just one or two others. She is confident and not too rattled by alot of noise or chaos, she just wants love, have you got extra that you could give her? Pixie, girl, born approx. 2008.
HELP Humane Society Inc. is a non-profit organization currently run by a small group of animal lovers in Cass County, MO (just south of Kansas City). All HELP animals are treated by veterinarians, receive age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, spayed/neutered and those incoming after Oct 2005, have been micro chipped. Cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and are negative unless otherwise stated. Dogs have been heartworm tested and are on heartworm preventative.
HELP now has a no-kill shelter. HELP does not take in any owner relinquished animals. HELP rescues stray dogs and cats from the streets. We have been told by many adopters that the reason they liked adopting form us is because we have a happy place and all the cats are the friendliest ones they had ever met. HELP feels that ALL animal’s are worth saving. We have many FIV and FeLV+ cats in our care. They will live with us until they end their life’s journey or find a permanent home.
Adopting a FriendAll animals are current on vaccinations, been spayed/neutered, dewormed, micro chipped and the cats have been FeLV/FIV tested and dogs heartworm tested.
