I'll be attending an adoption event this Saturday, you can meet me at the Lake Calhoun Chuck and Don's on January 24 from 11-2.
My foster mom named me 'Fannie Mae' because I was found with my mom, Perdy, and two siblings after being abandoned by someone whose house was foreclosed. (You can read more about my history and see more pictures and a video of me on the Feline Rescue blog under the headings 'Mother & Daughter -- a Special Pair', 'Foreclosure Kitties' and 'And Penelope Makes Five'.)
I’m a beautiful black tabby kitten with big golden eyes and soft, soft, soft fur. I really love my mom, Perdy, and I used to always run to her when I got scared. But, lately, I have been getting braver and braver. Just recently, my foster mom brought home a very scary-looking shiny silver ball that rustled when it bounced around on the floor. But it took only 25 or so tentative bats before I conquered my fear of that toy!!! My foster mom was giving me lots of moral support the whole time. I really like to explore my foster mom’s house, and I try really hard to be as brave as my brother and sisters.
My absolute favorite toy in the world is toilet paper. I have managed to conquer three full rolls of toilet paper, each in less than 10 seconds. (You’d think my foster mom would learn by now not to leave those rolls unattended!) I have to admit that I am very independent and I’m not sure that I really like to be picked up so much by my foster mom. Instead, I’d rather observe. My foster mom thinks that I might feel differently when I find my forever home. For more information about me and my mom Perdy, please call Joan at 612.825.4056 and ask about Fannie Mae.
My adoption fee is $115.
