Description:
DOANTIONS TO ASSIST IN THE VETERINARY BILLS FOR THIS CAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.UPDATE 3-6-09 Tucker is doing very well on his thyroid medication and should be on a maintainence dose soon. We have to check his blood one more time to make sure we have the right dose. He finished his antibiotic and is doing fine now with his bladder infection. He is so ready for a forever home of his own! Do you have the home for him? UPDATE 1-30-09 Tucker was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism today and a severe bladder infection. We have started treatment for both conditions but, he will have to have frequent vet visits and blood tests to regulate his thyroid treatment. Tucker is 12 years young! He was recued from death row at a local kill shelter and adopted out but, after awhile without flea prevention, in his new home, he got fleas and instead of treating him they put him outside! So now Tucker is back here, safe with us. He is an absolute sweety. He is very affectionate. He likes to talk to you too so he is called 'Tucker the Talker' around here! He is now getting along better with the other cats and does not even mind the dogs. He has the most beautiful blue eyes! He is neutered, front declawed, up to date on vaccines and just adorable! Do you have a place 'in your home' for this sweet old guy? He really deserves a good home. His adoption fee is very low and special rates apply for our Senior to Senior program if you are over age 50. Email us today for an adoption application. Due to his age his adoption fee is a very reasonable $40 to an approved adopter.
