Description:
See Topaz- Please adopt me.'s Homepage Four Paws and Tail Rescue Meow there! Rusty and Topaz are 2 FELV postive cats (they are not related). Rusty is a gorgoues 3 year young Mackeral Tabby/Bengal Mix male cat. He has been with us for OVER 9 MONTHS. Topaz is a gorgoues 1 year young Russian Blue/Siamese Mix, she has been with us for over 4 MONTHS. We have been unsuccessful in finding them homes. We have tried everything. They are both BONDED and we would prefer to see them be adopted together- but it is not a requirement. They are both spayed/neutered, current on their distemper shot & rabies shot. Rusty is VERY playful and outgoing. He loves to play with Topaz even though she doesn't like it! Rusty loves to talk and is a great kitty. He has a gorgoues silky coat and stunning green eyes. He is a big boy (tad over weight). Topaz is very mellow and laid back. SHe loves Rusty but doesn't want to play. She is also very talkative (has that siamese talk!!!!). She loves to be held and will cling on like a baby. She is a gorgoues blue color with yellowish eyes- her fur is very soft and silky. Rusty and Topaz both love to snuggle in bed at night and purr up a storm! They each have their own litter box (topaz is picky). They are both very healthy and loving and deserve a home of their own. This is our last resort as if we don't find them homes by Feb. They will be going to a FELV cat rescue, which is the last thing we want to do but they aren't very happy staying in a small bed room. FELV isn't a death sentance, it just means their immune systems are compramised. If they get sick they need to see a vet ASAP. A cold could be fatal if not treated. They can live long happy lives just like any other cat. They just need to live alone or with other postive cats. Please consider them. My name is Topaz. I had been living outside a kind family's home for a few weeks. They noticed my belly getting bigger and thought I may be pregnant (turns out I am not pregnant). I am 1 year old pretty Russian Blue Mix girl (that's what the vet thinks.. maybe some Siamese in me- I do scream like one in a carrier). I have huge eyes and pretty soft & silky blue fur. The rescue also believed me to be pregnant, a month past and they hadn't really noticed my belly growing so I went to the vet. Turns out I am NOT pregnant I am very overweight (which is odd since I was living outside!). I weigh 12lbs and need to lose about 4-5lbs. I am on a diet currently! I was also caught up on my rabies shot and distemper shot, as well we being tested for FIV/FELV. I am POSTIVE for FELV. I need to live with other postive cats (like Rusty!) or be an only cat and also to live inside. Even though I am postive that is NOT a death sentance. I am VERY outgoing & VERY loving. I LOVE to jump up in my foster Mom's arms and sit in her lap. I LOVE to be HELD! YES HELD! I purr up a storm and just want to be with people! I get along well with Rusty!!! I love to be with people and am very loving! I have the cutest siamese talk!! I am spayed and haave had all my shots!!! PLEASE consider me! I want to know what a 'family' is. I will be spayed on Oct. 23rd and will be ready for my new home. Fill out an adoption app. (PS: My pictures don't do me justice!) 'Dedicated to help save lives of animals, one tail at a time'
