Description:
9/2009 Hi, my name is Emma. I am almost two years old and I was brought into the Shelter after being bit in the spine by a larger animal back in June of this year. I was facing euthanasia until someone from Shelter to Home saw me. It turns out, I was much worse off than anyone expected. Due to my injuries which affected the nerves along my spine, I'm no longer able to go to the bathroom (#1) on my own, and need help with that daily, but I can eat, walk, and act like a normal cat. If you saw me, you wouldn't know that I have a disability. I've been seen by the best specialists and veterinary doctors in the area, and they tell me that my condition is permanent and I'm always going to be this way. The doctors and my caregivers have been very nice and helpful, and I was told that Shelter to Home is trying to find a Sanctuary where I can live at, maybe even with other cats just like me. If you know somewhere that might take me, please contact INFO@sheltertohome.com THANK YOU! Love, Emma
