Description:
Please contact Sharla (kapshill@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Won't you consider giving this wonderful kitty a forever home? OZZIE (formal name AZUL because he is a Blue Bi-ColorRagdoll and of course has blue eyes). Ozzie and Mackare not litter mates but were born the same week andgrew up together. Ozzie weighs about 11 lbs., is 7,neutered and front declawed. He had a sad first yearas the vet broke his leg while performing surgery forundescended testicle neutering). The fracture wentundetected (the vet claiming his slight limp was froma strained ligament) until finally an osteotomy had tobe performed (by a specialist) to remove the ball ofthe femur. It took a while for Ozzie to recover andhe still has stiffness in the leg in the morning. However he compensates VERY well. As a matter of facthe jumps and spins and whirls harder and higher thanMack when you get out the toy that he loves the best. He has a HUGE heart and a ton of courage. He has nolingering medical problems or visits as a result ofhis 'trauma'. Only that he really HATES going to thevet (hence 3 yr. rabies shots). We love our 'babies'very much but are at a new phase in our life(retirement) and plan to travel extensively for anumber of years. It would be great if Mack and Ozziecould go to the same home but they don't 'cuddle andcozy' with each other and have their little spats so Ialso think they would be OK if separated.Ozzie like Mack won't tolerate a home with strange cats.Guardian is willing to ship them to the right home!
