Mia is a special persian looking for a special retirement home. She''s about 12 years old, and was brought here because her elderly owner couldn''t care for her anymore. When Mia came in, she was covered from head to tail in thick mats which were making it difficult for her to move around. She''s feeling much better now that she''s been shaved down (don''t worry, it''ll grow back). Once it grows back in, her new owner will need to spend some time brushing her so that she doesn''t mat up again. Mia is a very sedentary girl, and is living in one of our offices right now. She is a great office companion, as long as you don''t mind sharing your seat. As you might imagine, Mia is very low energy and doesn''t need a lot of room. A comfy chair or bed, a litterbox, and a food bowl, and Mia will be all set. She isn''t a big fan of dry cat kibble, but she loves wet food. She won''t be a good companion for a kitten or active cat that wants to play with her, but Mia would co-exist fine with another extra-calm cat. Gentle, older kids that understand I''m a senior girl would be okay.
