Description:
1-3-09 Nick's new 'Dad' drove thru the ice storm today to come and pick up his new best friend! 12-29-08 First 2 pics are new and the 3rd was on arrival. He has been combed and tolerates it well. He would look really cute with a 'lion' cut!12-26-08 Rescued on Christmas day hence the name! Can't quite figure out why the people who had him threw him out and now deny that he is even their cat? Neutered, front declawed and missing a toe, his feet are very sensitive so he might have a little frostbite? He is very thin at just over 7# but has a huge appetite so should gain back his weight pretty quick. Vet estimates his age at around 2 years so still a young guy. He was very matted so the worst have been cut out and he will be a beautiful boy with the proper attention. Persians need regular grooming so keep that in mind before considering this breed! All vaccines now current, wormed, FeLV/FIV tested and his fleas are gone now too! Yes, they can have fleas in the winter and he did! Seems to be a very sweet boy who is looking for a real home this time, with responsible owners who understand that he can NEVER be outside and know what a lifetime commitment means! This is the only good pic i got of him on arrival as he was too busy eating (he is sooo hungry) to look at me. The mats are gone now and will get more pics soon.
