She came to our organization via KCK Animal Control, so her background is unknown to us. All we really know is what we've learned since she's been in our foster home. She's young, her approximate birthdate is 6/25/08. She definitely is a 'hider' when faced with wide-open spaces. When in a small space, she's much more comfortable, so her adopter would need to work her from a small space in the home into larger spaces. When you hold her, she's ecstatic! She purrs, she rubs under your chin, she tries to hide her face under your arm, but is purring madly the whole time. She enjoys being combed/brushed and will let you pet and snuggle with her as long as you're willing. She'll take a bit of time to get used to being in a new home, but it'll take her no time at all to get used to having a new person to adore her! Her adoption fee is $65. She likes other cats and would need to be introduced to well-behaved dogs in an appropriate manner. She would do fine with older children, but may not be a good fit for very small children since she scares easily. All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on shots and worming, tested for feline leukemia and treated for fleas and ear mites. They also come with a free well visit with one of our participating vets. We thank these vets for being such a valuable part of our adoption process!
