Description:
- ZigZag's 2008 didn't start off well, his owner passed away the day after Christmas 2007 and ZigZag and his feline siblings were out on the street. HELP Humane Society was able to get all the kitties to safety but now they are all looking for new families. Many of them are seniors, as is ZigZag. By the way, he got his name because when his guardian rescued him, he had a zig zag open wound on his head. The veterinarian thought that he had been up under a car trying to keep warm and someone started the engine, luckily he survived. Zig Zag is a senior Manx that is not that crazy about other cats, but if they don’t bug him, he is not an aggressor. He would just like to have a lot of lap time; he sleeps allot, and would like to snuggle with someone while taking care of that business. HELP Humane Society is a non-profit, no kill animal rescue. We developed a rescue/foster/adoption program where we foster the animals in our own homes. They are treated like our own pets until suitable loving and permanent homes can be found. Our shelter is located at 511 Main Street, Belton, MO 64012. We are open Tuesday - Friday 1pm to 8pm, Saturday 10am - 6pm, Sunday 12 - 5, and closed on Monday. We can be reached at 816-318-HELP (4357), 816-797-0271 or through our website at www.helppets.org. Not all animals do well in an adoption center situation, so many may not be at the adoption center. Please call before you come to find out if the animal you are interested in is at the shelter. If you have any questions about one of our animals, you can either call 816-318-HELP, 816-797-0271 or e-mail us at info@helppets.org. Adoption information: All our animals are current on vaccinations, tested for diseases, spayed/neutered and evaluated for temperament for the best possible match for a forever home. Our adoption fee is $90.00 for each animal or $150.00 for a pair. Interested in adopting a pet?
