STELLA – came to MMCR from the Clinton County Animal Control program She was born in the spring of 2008 and is a beautiful gray and white Manx cat. Manx cats have either a very small tail (a stub) or no tail at all. The breed originated on the Isle of Man in the early 1700’s and the island has a large population of the cats to this day. The Manx breed is generally known to be very intelligent, and Stella is no exception to that! Along with all of that intelligence goes the certainty that she is smarter than any other animal, and so she doesn’t tolerate any of them much! It would be better if Stella went to a home where she could be the only pet – and therefore Queen! She can be alittle shy at first, but soon realizes that you are there only to serve her! She likes to be groomed, and is playful and active. If you take Stella home, it will take her a little time to adjust, but shortly she will rule your world and you will love it! All cats and kittens have tested negative for FIV/FELv, up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and have been treated for internal and external parasites. Most are good with dogs, other cats and children.
