Description:
Maine Coon Rescue cannot guarantee the parentage or breed of cats on this site. THIS IS A COURTESY POST CAT WHO IS BEING CARED FOR BY OUR FRIENDS AT OTHER RESCUE GROUPS/SHELTERS. FOR INFORMATION ON THIS CAT, PLEASE CONTACT PERSON NAMED DIRECTLY. I have a purebred spayed female B/W Maine Coon who I need to find a home for. She is 7 yrs old. My alpha female HATES her and this has been going on for a long time. Oops lived in my bedroom while she had her one kitten and she was a totally different cat away from Reba. She is beautifully marked but a tad thin due again to Reba chasing her away from the food dishes. She would be good as an only cat or with a mild mannered one like herself. Oops likes other cats--she will even go over to groom Reba until Reba thumps her upside the head. Young kids would probably scare her. She has been around my small dogs and just seems to ignore them or gets out of their way. She will be fine with her new people as soon as she discovers Reba is gone and that they pay attention to her. She will be timid till then.
