Description:
Please contact Sarah (sarahvicary@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet. TYSON – came to MMCR when his owner could no longer care for him. He is a beautiful Maine Coon, a tabby with white, and just look at that great long fur! What a handsome guy! Tyson was born in the summer of 2006 and is front declawed. He can be shy at first, but his overall personality is very calm and well behaved. He is good with other cats, but came from a situation where two families combined, and the new people in his house had young children and lots of other animals. Tyson did not adjust well to this situation, as he was used to a quiet house, where he was the only pet. He started spending a lot of time under the bed, and was afraid of the dogs. Because of this Tyson will need a home where there are no small children or puppies. Tyson likes to be picked up, and once he is secure in his new home, will definitely sit on your lap during the day and sleep with you at night. We always want all of our kitties to get great homes – but we are really pulling for Tyson to end up with a new human friend, because he is such a sweet boy! All cats and kittens have tested negative for FIV/FELv, up to date on shots, spayed or neutered and have been treated for internal and external parasites. Most are good with dogs, other cats and children.
